Love sets sail on the high seas for Corinna and Garrett
It was truly like an episode of the “Love Boat” when couple Corinna and Garrett launched into married life aboard Royal Caribbean’s Brilliance of the Seas off the coast of Florida.
Embarking on their nautical nuptial adventure, Corrina and Garrett were joined by 75 of their closest friends and family, enjoying their beautiful, yet simple ceremony on the second day of the five-day cruise.
Naturally, the couple’s primary wedding color was navy blue—featured in the groom’s dapper anchor-themed bow tie and trousers, their stunning wedding bands and the bridesmaids’ long, flowing gowns. Even the ship’s deck chairs perfectly complemented the color theme. Accented with shades of maroon, blush, and ivory, Corinna’s choice of the Three Color Bridal bouquet by Eco Flower blended perfectly into the gorgeous color scheme.
“My favorite thing about the bouquet is that I get to keep it forever!” said Corinna. “It’s absolutely beautiful. I’m just so happy I get to see my beautiful bouquet every day.” Corinna’s five bridesmaids all love that they can keep their bouquets as well.
This happy couple, who met seven years ago when they worked at Texas Roadhouse in the Tampa, Florida area, was first introduced to Eco Flower when watching Shark Tank. “I immediately placed an order for our wedding after the episode,” she said.
Throughout the big day—make that days since it was a five-day cruise—Corinna said everything was smooth sailing, all except the unexpected 10- to 12-foot seas on the last day of the cruise. “It was nothing I could control, but whew! I wish we would’ve been cruising on another weekend with smoother seas,” she said.
The ceremony was made extra special due in part to Corinna’s matron of honor who officiated. She aptly captured the personality and subtle nuances of Corinna and Garrett’s relationship, making the ceremony even more personal and unique.
The day after the ceremony, the ship docked at Cozumel. Before enjoying any shore excursions, Corinna and Garrett donned their wedding garb one more time for a quick photo shoot. While her groom was a bit reluctant, Corinna said the images of them standing in front of the enormous ship with the lapping turquoise waters in the background were her favorite captured by photographer Ashley Izquierdo.
